FANTASTICO – Ohridsko Ezero St., Sofia

This project responds to a sloped urban plot, strict commercial requirements, and a need for functional clarity. Instead of relying on additional structures to resolve the level difference, we used the terrain itself as a design tool. By elevating the building, we reduced excavation costs and repurposed the displaced soil to create an artificial hill that connects the street directly to the retail level.

The commercial slab extends over the hill, grounding the building in its context and enhancing the street presence. The result: a clear, accessible entrance and a compact structure with maximum efficiency and minimum distraction.
