Bellevue Residence II
Completion of our project for the shared spaces of Bellevue Residence II has been a resounding success. In 2016, it garnered the prestigious 'Building of the Year' award, and for us, it was a privilege to contribute to the enhancement of its interior areas. Of course, this undertaking also entailed substantial responsibilities. Capturing the essence of modern luxury from the outside in was a formidable task, all in pursuit of crafting a fitting and uniquely captivating interior space.
Covering the entire shared space, our project includes the entrance area, foyer, a comfortable waiting zone with plush seating, restroom facilities, and a compact coffee station. The foyer serves as a natural divider between entrances 'A' and 'B', both seamlessly integrated into the overall design.
One of our main challenges was to create a sense of luxury and grandeur in the entrance area, all while working with limited ceiling height. This needed to be achieved while still ensuring a cohesive aesthetic with the adjacent Bellevue Residence I. To overcome this, we strategically employed mirrored surfaces, skillfully crafting an illusion of heightened space. The interior elements appear to almost levitate, adding an extra layer of intrigue to the design.
The wall panels, highlighted with sleek black framing, are meticulously fashioned from milled MDF. Each entrance door is distinguished by its respective letter.
The apartment corridors exude a clean, uncluttered elegance. The wooden wainscoting brings a sense of warmth to the space adjacent to the elevator and is artfully mirrored in the material of the apartment doors.
Creating a striking contrast to the foyer, the waiting area is enveloped in a cocoon of rich, warm wood, ensuring a snug and inviting space. As a homage to the adjacent park, we introduced a living wall adorned with moisture-loving plants.
